Our main-stay is live-sales for starter flocks or individual animals but we do sell live sheep for meat if requested. Our entire herd is moved every other day to fresh grass as part of our rotational grazing schedule. As a result we have them trained to a single strand of electric “hot” fence and they are used to livestock guardian dogs sharing the pen with them.

Sheep were the first type of livestock on the farm and we couldn’t imagine not having them. They are out on the pasture every day, never raised in a barn. The Rams are kept in a mobile pen that we call “The Ram-bler” as we move it several times a day. This lets us get into all the corners that would normally get missed.
